Dear Father, did you mean to say "Jesus the carpenter’s son" instead of "Joseph the carpenter’s son"? Thank you for the sermon.
It appears that I have paraphrased the meaning of the three relevant verses from the three Synoptic Gospels:
Matthew 13:55, “Is not this the carpenter’s son?”
Mark 6:3, “Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, etc.?”
Luke 4:22, “Is not this Joseph’s son…?”
